Job Summary:
Ticket Lobby Hosts are tasked with immediately greeting guests as they enter the Ruby Falls Ticketing Atrium while providing thorough information to guests as they purchase their tickets. Ticket Lobby Hosts must maintain a cheerful, outgoing demeanor with guests as well as fellow team members. Ticket Lobby Hosts also assist in coaching and advising other front line team members.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Assist customers with purchasing tickets, refunds, questions, and/or complaints courteously and efficiently.
  • Ensure daily operations of ticketing desk and other areas are running smoothly.
  • Provide excellent customer service following the Give 'Em the Pickle customer service standards.
  • Check-In groups.
  • Adhere to all cashiering procedures.
  • Announce and load tours.
  • Monitor tours in cave.
  • Provide leadership, support, and supervision to front line staff.
  • Understand staff schedule, schedule needs and cover shifts as needed.
  • Work as Tour Guide as needed.
  • Drive the 15-passenger van as needed.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • Stand for an 8 hour shift.
  • Ability to lift, grab, press, and push to perform essential duties.
  • Lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Bend, reach, and stoop.

Educational and Other Requirements:
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings.
  • Background check required.
  • Must have valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
  • Ability to count, add, subtract, give accurate change, and keep all monies organized.
  • Previous front desk or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and respond to necessary documents.
  • Ability to work with minimum amount of supervision.
  • Ability to input and access data in computer, to perform assigned duties with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
  • Ability to Multi-task in a fast pace environment.
  • The ability to work with a team and solve problems as they arise.
