Job description

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Electro Magnetic Spectrum Analyst (Advanced) with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Falls Church, VA.
We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more.
We are seeking a highly technical and operationally focused Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Specialist / Electronic Warfare (EW) Analyst to support Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO).
In modern conflict, dominating the electromagnetic spectrum is critical.
The ideal candidate bridges the gap between deep technical signals intelligence (SIGINT/ELINT) and operational planning. You will work closely with Information Operations (IO), Cyber, and Decision Support Planners to integrate non-lethal EW effects and degrade adversary perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Adversary Spectrum Analysis:
  • Analyze adversary telecommunications, radar, and RF emitter networks.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of adversary Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities, tactics, and vulnerabilities.

Multi-Domain Integration:
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the electromagnetic environment to Joint Planning Teams (OPTs).
  • Assess EW and EMSO effects with Information Operations (IO), Cyber Operations, and traditional kinetic fires.

Target Development:
  • Identify critical nodes within adversary air defense, C2, and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) networks.

Data Exploitation & ELINT:
  • Utilize national and tactical SIGINT/ELINT/FISINT data to characterize complex emitters, update threat libraries, and build comprehensive baseline assessments of the operational environment.
  • Utilize intelligence databases (e.g., EWIRDB, CED) with current adversary parametric data.
