Job description

Join a Top Workplace in Specialized Therapy
Enhance your clinical career with AB Spectrum, a team proudly named a Top Workplace by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. We earned this recognition, which is based entirely on employee feedback, because we foster a culture where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.

  • Our Model: Our centers utilize a unique Therapy Through Play model. We embrace the principles of Reggio Emilia by devising a Natural Environment Teaching (NET), child-led learning environment to deliver individualized, high-quality early intervention services in settings that replicate a natural preschool.
  • Our Team: Join our collaborative team of BCBAs, RBTs, SLPs, and Administration. You'll benefit from cross-disciplinary collaboration and unique special visits, including music facilitators, pet interactions, and other partnerships.

Provisionally Licensed Behavior Analyst (PLBA)
Hiring Locations: Florissant, Ballwin, St. Peters

The AB Spectrum Difference
Recognized as a Top Workplace by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, AB Spectrum is the exclusive provider of Reggio-inspired ABA therapy. We prioritize a "hands-on, hearts-on" approach to early intervention in a setting that feels like childhood, not a clinic.
  • Clinical Philosophy: We operate with a strict non-restraint and non-seclusion policy.
  • Active Learning: We utilize our outdoor play areas daily, moving therapy beyond the desk and into the fresh air.
  • No RBT Shift Coverage: Your time is protected for clinical leadership and oversight-PLBAs are not used for sub-coverage.
  • Relocation Support: Moving to the St. Louis area? We offer relocation assistance for the right candidate!

Bridge to BCBA: Expert On-Site Supervision
We understand that the transition from student to BCBA is a critical phase. At AB Spectrum, you aren't left to figure it out on your own.
  • Dedicated On-Site Mentorship: Regular, face-to-face supervision with seasoned BCBAs who are invested in your clinical development.
  • Licensure Support: We provide guidance and fee coverage for Missouri LBA applications once you pass your boards.

The Role: Clinical Leadership with Balance
  • Hybrid Flexibility: One protected remote day per week for focused documentation and treatment planning.
  • Sustainable Pace: A strictly enforced caseload cap of 6 clients, ensuring you have the time to provide high-quality care.
  • Career Pathways: Clear, structured trajectories for professional advancement as we grow nationally.

Compensation & Benefits - Why You'll Love It
We provide a comprehensive benefits suite designed to support your health, your family, and your long-term security.
  • Health & Wellness: Choice of high-value medical plans (including a $0-deductible option). 100% company-paid medical premiums after one year.
  • Financial Security: 401(k) options and company-provided Group Life insurance.
  • Full Coverage: Robust Dental and Vision plans plus HSA options.
  • Family Support: Parental Leave program and Dependent Care FSA options.
  • Generous Time Off: Nearly one month of PTO (includes accrual, sick days, and paid holidays).

Who We Are Looking For
  • Certification: Active Missouri PLBA licensure (or eligibility to obtain it immediately).
  • The Goal: You are passionate about play-based, child-led therapy and thrive in a collaborative, "kindness-first" environment.
  • The Fit: You are looking for a long-term home where you can grow from a Provisionally Licensed professional into a clinical leader.
