St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) is seeking Licensed Psychologists who are interested and qualified to complete Psychological and/or Neuropsychological Testing Evaluations. We are committed to growth and are always looking to hire exceptional talent to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Our clinicians enjoy the aspects of being an independent provider that are appealing, while having the administrative and operational support to manage everything else that you need as a provider. Our dedicated and multidisciplinary team of 70+ colleagues are willing to share their clinical expertise for case consultation, continuing education, and program development. SLBMI prides itself on being a team-oriented environment that thrives on collaboration and providing compassionate behavioral healthcare!
Shift: Monday-Friday, dayshift. Onsite work required, with opportunity for a hybrid (onsite + remote) work schedule if preferred by the candidate.
About the Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing Services at SLBMI:
  • Examples of psychological and neuropsychological testing referral questions include Psychoeducational Testing, Diagnostic Testing including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, Personality Testing, Cognitive functioning and memory evaluation, and more.
  • The majority of your caseload would be Psychological and/or Neuropsychological Testing Services, with opportunity for a traditional individual outpatient therapy practice as well as specialty Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program involvement.
  • We encourage applicants who have additional subspecialty interests and training; however, that is not required.
  • We also allow for tailoring of your caseload, according to your expertise and competencies.

Qualifications
  • Interested applicants must have completed a doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field (e.g. Ph.D or PsyD) AND be fully licensed by the State of Missouri to practice independently. Additionally, they must demonstrate exceptional competencies and have experience within Psychological and/or Neuropsychological Testing evaluations and report writing.
  • Applicants for a neuropsychologist position must be eligible for American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) certification (e.g., have completed a 2-year post-doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology)
  • Psychologists who are interested in a Hybrid Schedule must be professionally licensed in the state in which they reside.
  • All applicants must be credentialed-eligible for managed care panels in Missouri. There is a required 90-day wait period for insurance credentialing to be completed prior to starting.
