Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) | Part-Time After-School Hours Available


Looking for Extra Hours After School?


Shining Steps ABA is seeking caring, dependable, and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team.


Our greatest need is for team members who are available during after-school hours, making this a great opportunity for:

  • Current RBTs looking to add hours to their caseload

  • Center-based ABA staff seeking supplemental income

  • Paraprofessionals, instructional aides, and school staff

  • College students pursuing psychology, education, child development, or related fields

  • Individuals interested in starting a rewarding career in ABA


Typical session times are between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with additional opportunities available on weekends.
Compensation:

Behavior Technician (BT)
  • Up to $22.00 per hour

  • Not yet registered as an RBT

  • Currently completing or willing to complete the 40-Hour RBT Training Course

  • Paid training and support available


Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Up to $24.00 per hour

  • Must maintain an active RBT certification

  • Pay based on experience, certification status, and case assignment

What You'll Do:

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents

  • Work in home, school, clinic, and community settings

  • Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA

  • Collect and record data during therapy sessions
