Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Primary Care

Pleasanton, CA
University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established primary care team in Pleasanton, California.
Position Details:
  • Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Clinical duties:
    • ~50% direct patient care (Primary care - manage your own panel and support care team)
    • ~50% in-basket management and panel support
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of primary care experience required
  • Patient volume: Average of 10-12 patients per half day
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM
  • Specialist access: Seamless referral network within Stanford Medicine, in-office as well as nearby offices
  • Patient population: highly diverse community-based practice model with strong continuity of care
  • Opportunity to practice full-spectrum primary care including basic outpatient procedures
