Akima Technical Solutions is looking for a Parachute Packer/Rigger to work in Yuma, Arizona to join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities
  • Have parachute packing knowledge and expertise in order to ensure that parachutes are packed safely and in a timely manner.
  • Be an FAA Senior Rated Parachute Rigger and able to provide certification documentation to be provided to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) within 24 hours of hire.
  • Be capable of packing three main parachutes in 21 minutes.

Qualifications
  • Have work history which contains experience directly related to the required task and functions that will be assigned.
  • FAA Senior Rated Parachute Rigger and able to provide certification documentation.
  • Be familiar with Performance Designs Main Canopies: Specter, Saber II, Icarus Main Canopy, the Crossfire 2.
  • Be capable of packing three main parachutes in 21 minutes.
  • Be a U.S citizen with ability to pass a background investigation.
  • Able to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Able to pass a drug screen, as a condition of employment and subjected to random drug testing throughout the Period of Performance.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
