Salary 130K-150K+ depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and continually refine the overall approach to software quality, ensuring consistent standards and practices across engineering teams.
  • Promote proactive quality by encouraging early validation, clear delivery expectations, efficient automated feedback, and testing efforts that prioritize the highest-risk areas.
  • Expand the team's testing capabilities through automation, modern tooling, and practical applications of AI to improve speed, coverage, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering leaders to ensure quality considerations are incorporated throughout planning, design, development, and release activities.
  • Stay current with emerging testing methodologies, automation platforms, and AI advancements, evaluating new technologies and introducing those that provide meaningful business value.

Background Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 7 years in software quality / quality engineering with a track record of setting practices and building tools.
  • Looking for someone to have a sense of ownership, come in with new ideas, and out of the box thinking.
  • Experiecnce working for SaaS companies is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on automation experience (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
  • Coach and uplevel engineers and QA analysts on quality practices, test design, and AI-assisted workflows
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in quality or engineering workflow
  • Strong grasp of CI/CD, test architecture, and agile delivery.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and modern test management tooling.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Must be open to working in hybrid schedule – this is not a fully remote role.
  • Must have exemplary communication skills
  • Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder to be considered, as no sponsorship available for this role.
