Software QA Engineer
Fully onsite in Palo Alto, CA
 
We are seeking a Software QA Engineer with experience in test automation, backend validation, and end-to-end quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring application quality through manual and automated testing while partnering closely with development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases.
Create test plans, test scenarios, and test data.
Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Test web, mobile, and client-server applications.
Build and maintain automation scripts using Python and Selenium.
Validate backend data using SQL and MySQL.
Log, track, and retest defects through resolution.
Report testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve system issues.
Support application releases and post-deployment validation.
Maintain testing documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing through Confluence.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of Software QA or Test Engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Python and Selenium automation.
Experience testing web-based and client-server applications.
Solid understanding of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Experience performing data validation and backend testing using SQL/MySQL.
Knowledge of black-box and white-box testing methodologies.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mobile application testing.
Experience creating and enhancing automation frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release validation.
Additional programming experience in Java, C#, C++, or similar languages.
