Job Summary We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Functional Testing, Playwright, and TypeScript to join our engineering team in the SF Bay Area. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working at Apple and a proven track record of building scalable automation frameworks, validating complex web applications, and ensuring high software quality throughout the SDLC. Required Skills Mandatory: Prior experience working at Apple (Ex-Apple only) 5+ years of QA Automation and Functional Testing experience Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Proficiency in TypeScript Expertise in Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing Experience testing modern web applications and REST APIs Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution. Validate new features and ensure software quality across multiple releases. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and QA planning activities. Support continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines. Prepare and maintain QA documentation and SDLC artifacts.
