Location: Knoxville, TN

Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday | Hours Vary Based on Project Needs

About the Job

Clean Team Inc. is looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Special Projects Manager to lead commercial cleaning and specialty service projects throughout the Knoxville area.

This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional results. As the Special Projects Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to conduct customer site visits, develop project estimates and pricing, schedule work, and oversee projects from start to finish.

This is a working management position. In addition to planning and leading projects, you'll work alongside your team to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to Clean Team's high standards.

Responsibilities

As a Special Projects Manager, you will:

  • Conduct customer site visits to evaluate project scope and service requirements
  • Partner with the General Manager and Operations Manager to develop project pricing and estimates
  • Schedule specialty cleaning and facility service projects
  • Lead project teams while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards
  • Perform hands-on cleaning and project work alongside crew members
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Train and mentor team members on proper procedures and equipment operation
  • Communicate effectively with customers and company leadership throughout each project
  • Inspect completed work to ensure Clean Team quality standards are met
  • Safely operate company vehicles and commercial cleaning equipment
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in commercial janitorial services, manufacturing, industrial cleaning, or facility maintenance preferred
  • Leadership or project management experience strongly preferred
  • Experience estimating or coordinating commercial service projects is a plus
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
  • Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Ability to qualify under Clean Team's Fleet Safety Policy
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work varying hours based on project schedules
