Job description

Project Manager – New Business & IT Rollouts
The Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of new business and IT rollout initiatives across multi-site, multi-technology environments — on time, within scope, and on budget. This role owns the full project lifecycle and serves as the central driver of launch execution, cross-functional alignment, and organizational readiness as new retail and quick serve restaurant (QSR) locations are brought to market.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own project delivery across budget, schedule, and scope — flagging risks early and realigning plans when needed.
  • Develop and maintain project proposals covering objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and success metrics.
  • Set and track milestones across multiple concurrent site rollouts; manage unforeseen delays and recalibrate schedules and stakeholder expectations.
  • Build and execute project communication plans with consistent status updates to staff and stakeholders.
  • Lead new business rollouts from initiation through go-live, ensuring full operational readiness across all impacted teams and locations.
  • Manage end-to-end multi-site IT rollouts including the deployment and commissioning of POS systems, camera and surveillance infrastructure, network rack builds, and supporting technology across retail and QSR environments.
  • Coordinate with vendors, field technicians, and internal teams to ensure technology installations are delivered on schedule and to specification at each site.
  • Maintain and manage multi-site rollout schedules, ensuring sequencing, dependencies, and site-readiness requirements are clearly tracked and communicated.
  • Conduct strategic analysis across all project phases to ensure on-time, on-target completion.
  • Collect and synthesize project data to produce accurate and actionable status reports across all active sites.
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams, assigning clear individual responsibilities and accountability.
  • Evaluate operational and technology options; lead cost-benefit analysis for major business and infrastructure investments.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project charters, site-specific deployment guides, process flows, runbooks, equipment configurations, lessons learned, and post-launch reviews.
  • Ensure all project artifacts are organized, version-controlled, and accessible to relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, with demonstrated experience in multi-site new business launches, retail or QSR rollouts, or IT implementations
  • Hands-on experience managing technology rollouts in retail and/or QSR environments — including POS systems, camera/surveillance systems, network rack infrastructure, and related technologies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent site deployments across geographically distributed locations
  • Proven command of project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices (PMP, Agile, or similar a plus)
  • Strong documentation skills — ability to produce clear, structured project artifacts including site deployment guides, runbooks, and equipment configuration records for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage complexity across multiple sites and technology streams simultaneously
  • Strong personal accountability in decision-making and team leadership
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to rally vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders around a shared rollout plan
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate site-level and program-level challenges before they escalate
