Position Summary

Drives service-project revenue by developing scopes/quotes for repairs, replacements, retrofits, and small design-build upgrades. Owns customer relationships, pricing strategy, and handoff to field PMs/Foremen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a territory of facility managers, property managers, and owner-direct accounts.
  • Conduct site assessments; develop scopes for equipment change-outs, pipe/fabrication, controls, energy upgrades, and code/safety corrections.
  • Create proposals with labor, materials, rentals, and subcontractor quotes; manage margin/GM targets.
  • Present options (good/better/best) and close work; secure POs and schedule with Dispatch/Operations.
  • Coordinate pre-job submittals, permits, and material releases; attend kickoff meetings.
  • Track backlog, hit rate, bookings, and forecast weekly, update CRM promptly.
  • Ensure a clean handoff to field PM/Foreman and stay engaged through punch/closeout for references.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in HVAC/plumbing/electrical service sales or project management.
  • Ability to build scopes and price work accurately with estimating support.
  • Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, code basics, safety, and site logistics.
  • Strong customer communication and time management; CRM discipline.
  • Valid driver's license; regional travel.
  • Experience selling to owner-direct customers and converting service findings/PMs into projects (Preferred).
