Description
Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USA Today Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a Trainer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the delivery of PeopleSoft HR training for end users, power users, business stakeholders, and support teams. This role is a great fit for a dynamic training professional who can turn system functionality into practical, engaging learning experiences that drive user adoption and operational readiness.
The ideal candidate will lead and deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions in support of PeopleSoft HR implementation, rollout, enhancements, and ongoing operations. You will bring strong presentation and facilitation skills, executive presence, and the ability to tailor content for audiences with varying levels of technical and functional expertise.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, functional analysts, change management leads, and client stakeholders to develop role-based training materials, conduct instructor-led sessions, support end-user readiness, and reinforce adoption of new capabilities. As a valued member of the SFI team, you will play a critical role in helping client organizations successfully adopt PeopleSoft HR solutions through clear communication, engaging delivery, and user-centered training strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging instructor-led training for PeopleSoft HR implementation, features, processes, and system updates.
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions for diverse audiences, including end users, managers, HR staff, administrators, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Conduct "train-the-trainer" sessions and empower users at various levels.
  • Translate functional and technical PeopleSoft HR requirements into clear, user-friendly training materials, job aids, quick reference guides, presentations, and learner exercises.
  • Assess audience needs and adapt delivery style, examples, and materials to support different learning styles, roles, and levels of system familiarity.
  • Create and update training materials, including User Productivity Kits (UPKs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), quick reference guides, and system simulations for new releases as needed.
  • Partner with project teams, business analysts, SMEs, and change management leads to align training content with implementation milestones and organizational readiness goals.
  • Support training strategy, scheduling, logistics, attendance tracking, and post-session follow-up for both onsite and remote events.
  • Deliver strong presentations with confidence, clarity, and professionalism, while managing participant engagement, questions, pacing, and discussion.
  • Provide demonstrations of PeopleSoft HR functionality, business process walkthroughs, and hands-on exercises that reinforce practical use of the system.
  • Train users on specific actions such as Personnel Action Requests (PARs), Talent Management, Profiles, Payroll/Personnel Mismatches (PPM), and Duty Assignment updates. Tailor training for specific user roles, including Self-Service), HR Professionals, Validators, and Leadership (approvers).
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, feedback, knowledge checks, and observations, and recommend improvements to increase adoption and learning retention.
  • Maintain and update training documentation to reflect system enhancements, policy changes, and evolving business processes.
  • Support user readiness activities such as train-the-trainer sessions, office hours, refresher sessions, onboarding support, and targeted remediation training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Education, Training, or related field.
  • 3 years of training development, 1 year of adult learning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in: Instructional design, training delivery, e-learning development, curriculum development, assessment design.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.

Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules and HR business processes such as workforce administration, benefits, position management, onboarding, or self-service capabilities.
  • Experience supporting user adoption, organizational change management, or communications for HR system implementations.
  • Experience developing role-based learning plans, curricula, and blended learning assets for enterprise software deployments.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and effective techniques for live and virtual facilitation.
  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing, hypercare, go-live readiness, or post-implementation stabilization efforts.
  • Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or client-facing delivery environments.

  • Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Work Environment: Hybrid/On-site as required by the contract, includes travel.
  • This is a full-time, W2 position.
