Job description

SymSoft Solutions is seeking a dedicated ArcGIS Consultant to join our talented team. As a leading digital experience and web development company, we specialize in utilizing advanced technologies to enhance our clients' capabilities in data mapping, spatial analysis, and geographic information systems (GIS).

In this role, you will work closely with clients to design and implement ArcGIS solutions that address their unique needs. You will leverage your GIS expertise to provide insights that inform decision-making processes and create innovative spatial data solutions.

Your contributions will play a crucial role in promoting environmental sustainability and enhancing operational efficiency for our clients.

This is an onsite position.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an ArcGIS Consultant, with a strong background in geographic information systems and spatial analysis.
  • Hands-on expertise with ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and associated tools.
  • Familiarity with GIS data management, processing, and analysis, including vector and raster data.
  • Proficient in scripting and automating tasks within ArcGIS using Python or other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with spatial database management, SQL, and integration of GIS data with other databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on deriving insights from geographic data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certification as an Esri ArcGIS Desktop Professional or similar is a plus.
