Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spatial & Data Analyst to support project execution through spatial analysis, data management, and performance reporting. This role focuses on enabling efficient work package development and delivering insights that help project managers track and improve operational outcomes.
Business conduct must occur in accordance with OMS policies and procedures and be aligned with the goals of OMS.
Essential Functions:
• Conduct data quality checks, recommend improvements to data collection methods, and ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.
• Create dashboards and visual presentations (e.g., Power BI) to monitor project progress and performance metrics.
• Interpret spatial data and produce reports that compare actual outcomes to planned metrics, helping inform project decision-making.
• Provide flexible, on-demand data and spatial analyses as needed to respond to evolving project requirements or stakeholder inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned by OMS or the client.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in GIS, Data Analytics, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field
o 2-4 years of experience in data or spatial analysis, preferably supporting utility or infrastructure projects
o Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), Power BI, and Microsoft Excel
o Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and attention to detail
o Conduct a background check, drug screening, and physical exam.
o Approval by Client Representative.
Working Conditions:
Environmental Factors: Indoor and outdoor conditions; exposure to heat, cold, potentially hazardous chemicals, toxic materials. Noise level is usually moderate. Pay Range
$28.00 Hourly to $35.00 Hourly
