Intelligence Management Specialist - Spanish Interpreter/Translator
A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.
This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to be considered.
Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an Intelligence Management Specialist - Spanish Interpreter/Translator to support our government client.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Intelligence Management Specialist - Spanish Interpreter/Translator: $90,000 - $100,000. Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Intelligence Management Specialist - Spanish Interpreter/Translator Responsibilities Include:
  • Provides full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist Foreign Liaison officers responsible for leading and managing intelligence security cooperation efforts.
  • Provides language translation support, document reviews, assistance with responses to staff requests, preparation of correspondence and other documents, and support to Key Leader Engagements.
  • Responsible for correct format, grammatical structure, punctuation, clarity of expression, word usage and maintenance of the concept and intent of the original text.
  • Reviewing and revising work upon completion of the translation.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Intelligence Management Specialist - Spanish Interpreter/Translator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with the willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience
  • Spanish fluency
  • Ability to pass translation test from foreign language into English at ILR level 3 or higher.
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office suite and internet tools.
