Position Description
The Project Manager is responsible for leading heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including roadway, underground utilities, concrete paving, earthwork, and infrastructure work. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with DDM Construction Corporation's high standards for quality and performance.
Working closely with the Project Superintendent and project team, the Project Manager oversees planning, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, subcontractor coordination, and risk management. The position requires strong collaboration with estimators, field leadership, engineers, suppliers, and clients while supporting team development and driving successful project delivery across all phases of construction.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field, and/or have the experience and consistent career path.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management either as a Project Engineer, Estimator, or Assistant Superintendent.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry practices.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
