Job description

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, and fun teachers to teach play-based Spanish in Portland! This is a Preschool and after-school program.

Job Requirements:

  • The most important quality is that our teachers LOVE working with children.
  • CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO THE SCHOOLS THEY SERVE
  • No teaching experience is required
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Our ideal teacher would be:

  • Training begins in August with classes beginning in mid September.

Job Outline:

We're looking for passionate individuals to join our teaching team for the 2025-2026 school year. Once selected, you'll start your training journey right away. This includes observing seasoned teachers in action and engaging in both online and face-to-face training sessions with our skilled trainers.

Our training program is carefully designed to fully prepare you for success in our program, blending practical experience with expert guidance every step of the way.

You will be leading a class of up to 12 children, spending an hour together filled with fun and play. You'll guide them through 45 minutes of singing, movement, and exciting activities, with a 15-minute snack break to relax and connect. It's all about creating joyful, memorable experiences for the kids!

Training & Admin pay: $16.00/hr

Teaching pay: $26.00/hr
