Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in South Austin is looking for an energetic, people-focused Assistant Spa Manager to join our leadership team!

Our Assistant Spa Manager plays an important role in both the guest experience and the day-to-day success of the spa. You’ll work alongside our Spa Associates at the front desk while also partnering with the Spa Manager to help lead the team, drive membership and retail sales, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
  • Create a welcoming, positive experience for every guest who walks through our doors
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist guests with questions
  • Educate guests on memberships, services, enhancements, and retail products
  • Help drive membership and spa package sales
  • Support and motivate the front desk team to reach individual and spa goals
  • Assist with daily spa operations, scheduling, inventory, payroll, and reporting
  • Help maintain an organized, professional, and upbeat spa environment
  • Assist with guest concerns and find solutions that leave our clients feeling valued
  • Partner with the Spa Manager to coach, develop, and hold team members accountable
  • Help ensure our Massage Therapists and Estheticians have the support they need to provide an exceptional experience

  • Previous leadership, retail, hospitality, or sales experience
  • A strong sales mindset and comfort talking with guests about memberships and services
  • A naturally friendly and enthusiastic personality
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • The ability to coach and encourage others while also taking direction
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Confidence handling multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Basic computer skills; experience with spa or appointment-booking software is a plus
  • An interest in massage, skincare, health, and wellness
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Previous spa experience is a plus, but great leadership, sales ability, and the right personality are just as important to us.
