Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive counseling services to clients, leveraging your expertise to develop therapeutic plans that cater to individual needs.
• Conduct engaging individual, family, and group counseling sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to empower clients in identifying challenges and discovering effective solutions.
• Implement and execute treatment programs, applying evidence-based practices to promote mental wellness and manage symptoms of mental health issues, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Manage paperwork efficiently using our EHR system to maintain accurate and up-to-date client records while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and referrals as needed, and actively participate in case consultations to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with diverse individuals facing a range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex mental health disorders. As a Licensed Clinical Counselor, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, guiding them toward personal growth and resilience. Your work will directly impact their overall wellbeing, promoting recovery and self-advocacy.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Kansas.
• A minimum of three years of experience providing mental health counseling is required, demonstrating your ability to engage effectively with clients.
• Proficiency in using technology, notably a reliable computer, webcam, and internet connection, to facilitate remote counseling sessions effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently and responsibly, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical guidelines.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check as part of the hiring process.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth systems and electronic health record (EHR) management is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and an openness to continuous learning about new techniques and tools to support client growth.
• Experience working in a community health setting with diverse populations enhances understanding and responsiveness to client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Summit Healthcare Group is pleased to offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education. Our benefits package includes:
