Pathologists an exciting locum opportunity is available in Georgetown, South Carolina!

We are seeking 2 3 experienced Pathologists to provide full-time locum coverage in Georgetown, SC with the opportunity to support multiple affiliated hospital locations. This role offers a dynamic environment for physicians who enjoy diverse pathology casework across multiple clinical sites while collaborating with experienced laboratory and clinical teams.

If you are a versatile pathologist comfortable with a wide range of pathology subspecialties, this opportunity offers excellent exposure and flexibility.

Position Highlights

Provide pathology services across multiple affiliated medical centers
Work in a collaborative laboratory and diagnostic environment
Exposure to diverse pathology cases and subspecialties
No call responsibilities
Utilize Epic EMR for clinical reporting and workflow

Schedule

Start Date: December 1, 2025 (ASAP coverage needed)
Assignment Type: Ongoing locum coverage
Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
1-hour unpaid lunch break
Call: No call required

  • April 6 April 10: Georgetown, SC

  • May 9 May 22: Orangeburg, SC

Clinical Responsibilities

Review and interpret surgical pathology and laboratory specimens
Provide diagnostic pathology interpretations for multiple hospital sites
Collaborate with clinicians to ensure accurate diagnostic reporting
Maintain detailed pathology reports and documentation using Epic EMR
Support laboratory teams across affiliated healthcare facilities

Practice Environment

Providers may support pathology services across several affiliated medical centers, including:

Georgetown, SC
Orangeburg, SC
Aiken, SC
Hilton Head, SC
Coastal Carolina region
Additional affiliated regional hospitals

Providers should be comfortable reading cases for multiple sites and adapting to different clinical environments.

MD / DO Pathology
Active South Carolina Medical License required

Orientation and Epic training modules provided to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
