Job description

Objective

Lead and coordinate development projects from concept through series production, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, project timelines, budgets, and quality targets. Act as the key interface between internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers while driving successful project execution in collaboration with Program Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end automotive development projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards

  • Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and cost tracking

  • Establish and lead cross-functional project teams, including sub-project leaders and technical specialists

  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when needed

  • Drive change management activities, including evaluation, cost assessment, and implementation of engineering changes

  • Act as primary technical interface for customers and internal stakeholders

  • Support acquisition activities, including requirement clarification and cost estimation

  • Coordinate supplier involvement and support sourcing decisions

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, including status updates and final project documentation

  • Promote a collaborative team environment and provide technical leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field

  • Experience in automotive project management, ideally in product and process development

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability in budget control, risk management, and project planning
