Job description

Description:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems, meeting company and industry standards for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities: 

  • Activate and deactivate irrigation systems
  • Repair and troubleshoot irrigation systems as required
  • Purchase parts required to repair irrigation systems maintaining accurate inventory and strict cost controls.
  • Submit accurate billing information
  • Promote and maintain safe working conditions
  • Program irrigation clocks to ensure proper watering of landscapes
  • Ensure proper use, care and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned
  • Gather and update historical data for each account regarding water source point of connection and mainline location, services performed and parts installed

Requirements:

  • 2 – 3 years experience of irrigation technician work
  • Drivers License with good driving record
  • Strong work ethic
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritized job duties and multi-task in a past paced environment
  • Customer service experience – able to identify and resolve customer concerns
  • Industry Certification a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
  • Computer Skills a plus

Compensation:
The salary for this position ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. There is also potential for bonus pay.
