Do you thrive in the field - camera in hand, capturing fast-paced action and turning it into compelling visual stories? Hearst Magazines is looking for a Senior Video Producer to bring bold ideas to life through dynamic, cinematic video content. You'll play a key role in shaping the voice of iconic enthusiast brands by producing videos that inspire, entertain, and move audiences.

About Hearst Magazines (Why Us?)

Hearst Magazines' portfolio of more than 25 brands in the U.S. - including Runner's World, ELLE, Bicycling Magazine, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper's BAZAAR, and Popular Mechanics - inspires, entertains, and builds bold new experiences for an engaged and growing audience across digital, video, social, and print platforms. Together, these brands reach nearly 140 million readers and site visitors each month.

With world-class content creation, cutting-edge technology, and industry-leading data capabilities, we create media and products that move people across all platforms. Hearst Magazines publishes nearly 260 magazine editions and 200 websites globally - and together, we're reinventing publishing for the 21st century.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce, shoot, and edit video content from concept through delivery, both independently and in collaboration with a team.
  • Capture and direct high-quality footage in a range of environments - from dynamic field shoots to controlled studio settings.
  • Oversee and contribute to all aspects of post-production, including editing, color grading, audio mixing, and graphics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, entertainment, and partnership teams to align video output with strategic goals.
  • Source, book, and manage freelance production talent and maintain efficient workflows across projects.
  • Enforce visual standards, file management practices, and production best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Support production budgeting and resource planning in coordination with project managers.
Qualifications
  • 6-8 years of hands-on professional video production experience, spanning pre- to post-production.
  • Proven success creating engaging, platform-optimized short- and long-form digital video content.
  • Strong creative vision and storytelling instincts, with the ability to bring fresh ideas to life.
  • Experience shooting in fast-paced environments, including outdoor/field production.
  • Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, and other Creative Suite tools (motion graphics a plus).
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator across departments and disciplines.
  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office required in Easton, PA.
What We Offer
  • Work with the Best: Collaborate with top-tier professionals across media, advertising, tech, fashion, lifestyle, and publishing, shaping the future of these dynamic industries.
  • Grow Your Skills: Unlock your potential with access to innovative training programs, immersive workshops, and exclusive industry events.
  • Work-Life Harmony: Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid work, empowering you to balance professional success with personal priorities.
  • Foster Connection & Belonging: Join our Employee Resource Groups and help create a welcoming workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
  • Wellness First: Prioritize your well-being with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance from Day 1.
  • Plan for Your Financial Future: Enjoy competitive financial perks, including a 401(k) plan with a generous company match.
