Local Team Collaboration:

  • Strong collaboration between all physicians and CRNAs on the team.
  • Lakewood Ranch Medical Center cases include general, ortho (total/partial joint, shoulder, hand, foot & ankle), Spine and Neuro (discectomies, laminectomies, craniotomies, spinal cord stimulator), Uro, Plastics, OB/GYN, EP/IR, and other services.
  • Awards: Forbes Best Hospitals, Leapfrog Top Teaching Hospital. Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission, receiving its Gold Seal of Approval with demonstrated excellence in surgical safety, infection prevention, perioperative care, and outpatient surgery quality metrics.
Qualifications:
  • NBCNA certified (or currently pursuing NBCNA certification as a student).
  • Active FL license.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
  • Schedule is 8 x 24-hour shifts/month worked over a 3-week period in a set rotation.
  • 13 weeks of scheduled time off.
Key Responsibilities:
  • OB CRNA.
  • Focus on caring for complex cases in a busy collaborative care team environment.
  • Provide anesthesia for a diverse range of cases.
  • Document anesthesia administration and patient responses in accordance with hospital and Sound Anesthesia standards.
