Partner in Clinical Excellence as an Anesthesiologist in Pensacola, FL at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital

Local Team Collaboration:

  • We believe in local, site-led leadership.
  • Strong collaboration between all physicians and CRNAs on the team.
  • If you're passionate about caring for complex, high-acuity patients who need specialized care, Ascension Sacred Heart offers a supportive environment where you can truly make an impact.
  • Sacred Heart Pensacola is a Level I trauma center offering general, OB/GYN, pediatrics, ortho, cath lab, neuro, and vascular surgeries. There is also an on-campus ASC.
  • High acuity pediatric cases will be covered by a dedicated team of Pediatric Fellowship-trained anesthesiologists.
  • Cardiothoracic cases will be covered by Cardiothoracic physicians who will assume all CV call.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a US Residency.
  • Board certification in Anesthesia.
  • Active FL license.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • Approx 1:10 call rotation with PCDO guaranteed.
  • Avg 45-hour work week for physicians in the salary offering. You will never be required to work over and beyond the scheduled rotation. Should you wish to pick up additional shifts or call, they will be compensated separately from the base salary offering.

The cost of living is lower than in many coastal cities, and the area offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
  • Pensacola is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S., with sugar-white sand and emerald-green water. Outdoor activities like boating, fishing, hiking, and paddleboarding are part of everyday life, and peaceful natural areas like Perdido Key and the Gulf Islands National Seashore are just minutes away.
  • The region offers solid public and private school options, including magnet and specialty programs. Families also benefit from nearby higher-education institutions such as the University of West Florida and Pensacola State College.

Rewards and Compensation:

  • A robust compensation package.
  • Sign-on bonus $100,000.
  • W2 and 1099 options available.
  • Additional call stipends offered on 2nd call weekend shifts on top of base.
  • Additional compensation + shift rate if you come in post 2nd call shift on top of base.
