Battery Sorting Associate

Vesco is looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented Battery Sorting Associate to help power our recycling operations. If you enjoy hands‑on work, learning new systems, and being part of a team that keeps materials out of landfills, this role is for you.


What You’ll Do
  • Sort and categorize batteries by type, size, and condition
  • Inspect batteries for damage, leaks, or corrosion
  • Separate rechargeable, single‑use, and specialty batteries
  • Package materials safely for recycling and transport
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and ergonomic lifting equipment
  • Record inventory and product details using a PC or tablet (ERP system)
  • Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized
  • Support warehouse teammates and keep operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems and scanners
  • Reliable, safety‑minded, and willing to learn
  • Hi‑Lo experience is a plus (not required)
  • Recycling, sorting, or warehouse experience is helpful—but not required
