Job description

You will be required to complete a survey to ensure you are qualified for this position. If you pass the survey, you will be scheduled for 1 working interview shift, to meet the client, and confirm you are a fit for the position. After the working interview shift, if you are selected, you will be directly invited to your schedule.

Working Interviews will be scheduled Tuesday (May 26), Wednesday (May 27), and Thursday (May 28).

Schedule details: -Schedules are rolling, requiring employees to work 5 out of 7 days each week. Specific days and hours may vary based on business needs. This schedule is posted to start at 10pm, however, this may change, and the start time may be 1am or 2am in the future.

Required skills: *Previous leadership experience required *Forklift certification/experience required *Previous warehouse experience *Effective communication skills *Good attitude and strong team player *Working in cold storage environment *Must be able to lift 35-60 lbs *Must be able to operate pallet jack *Ability to train and motivate a team

The job includes but is not limited to: -Manage a team of Sortation Associates in performing the sortation process -Overseeing the operations facility -Stationing associates within the correct spots in the warehouse -Pulling in night reports -Unloading trucks -Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items -Using hand tools to assemble warehouse material handling equipment -Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight -Operating machinery or other light equipment (e.g. pallet jacks) as trained in a safe and responsible manner -Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the leadership team

***General Requirements***

Forklift

When working in a Forklift Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

  • Independently operate a seated, stand-up, or cherry picker-type lift, depending on the position based on best safety practices and supervisor direction.
  • Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
  • Loading and unloading inventory in a safe and responsible manner
  • Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
  • Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
  • There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants. Some jobs may require safety (steel-toed) boots
  • If you have your certification, please be sure to bring it with you
