Job description

The Delivery Assistant supports delivery drivers with the execution of daily delivery routes, including unloading product, stocking shelves, and merchandising beverage displays at assigned customer locations. This role ensures products are accurately delivered, properly rotated, and merchandised according to company standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the driver with delivering, unloading and stocking products at assigned customer locations.
  • Help execute merchandising plans including rotating stock and maintaining product presentation standards.
  • Verify product quantities and assist with accurate delivery documentation.
  • Ensure all products are handled safely to prevent damage or loss.
  • Follow all company, customer and safety policies during deliveries and in-store work.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff and store personnel to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a Valid Driver's license
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass)
  • 1+ year of customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck etc.)

Physical Requirements:
This role requires regular standing, walking and reaching. Must be able to regularly lift and move products ranging from 25 to 170 pounds, as well as climb, reach, and perform other physical movements necessary to carry out the essential duties of the position. Position requires wearing steel-toed footwear.
