Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable purchasing and warehouse coordinator to join our team. This individual must be detail oriented and computer literate. As the purchasing and warehouse coordinator you would manage our supply chain procurement process and warehouse operations. This role ensures timely purchasing of materials, accurate inventory management and efficient warehouse organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and has strong communication and logistic skills.
Responsibilities
  • Source and purchase materials, supplies, parts and equipment.
  • Issue purchasing orders and maintain accurate purchasing records
  • Monitor order status and expedite deliveries when necessary
  • Collaborate with technicians and managers to forecast needs and avoid material shortages
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing materials
  • Maintain and organize warehouse
  • Preform regular inventory checks
  • Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed.

Qualifications
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, work in various environments and weather conditions
  • Highschool diploma or GED, associates in a related field preferred
  • 1 year of experience in purchasing or inventory management
  • Strong computer skills a must including experience with inventory or ERP systems
  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to pass a drug screening for all illegal substances in Vermont.

Salary range $ 35,000.00 to 65,000.00
Work location: In person. Must reliably commute to Montpelier, VT 05602.
