Job Description Quality Engineer Location: Monroe, OH Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office trak group is partnering with a growing organization to find a Quality Engineer for this direct-hire opportunity. This is a highly analytical role responsible for reviewing manufacturing processes to identify quality improvement opportunities that drive efficiency, cost savings, scrap reduction, and customer satisfaction. The organization is in an exciting period of growth with a number of new leaders in place, offering strong opportunity to learn and help shape the culture moving forward.

Responsibilities: Partner with management to identify and lead quality improvement initiatives Communicate with customers on quality issues and help identify solutions Analyze processes to reduce variation, improve capability, and optimize performance Evaluate process metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement Collaborate with operations to foster a quality culture and apply Lean Six Sigma tools to drive root cause and corrective action Coordinate quality training records and support development of quality management systems, policies, and procedures Communicate confidently with a range of internal and external stakeholders Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar) 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, including managing quality improvement projects; plastic extrusion experience highly desired Experience with a quality management system Proficient knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean techniques; Green Belt required (or willingness to obtain), Black Belt preferred Comfortable working independently and within a team, with confidence to speak up and challenge the status quo Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and project management skills, including SOP writing Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Smartsheet, SAP/ERP, MES, and Minitab experience a plus Ready to take the next step.
