The hybrid sync coordinator role will handle operational needs of two departments - Film & Television and Branding & Commercial Syncs including data input of masters usage, tracking contracts, maintaining financial documents, interfacing with artist management and following-up with clients.

What you'll do:
  • Seek approval and perform clearance duties for music-intensive television shows, ads, film festivals, documentaries, non-profits, live streams and live performances
  • Manage financial reports and provide weekly updates on progress for the fiscal year
  • Enter deal terms into Sony proprietary licensing system (GOLD) and work with Release Planning to create new ISRC codes for live performances, live streams and new covers
  • Oversee maintenance of accurate records and department files including sample and side artist splits, publishing information, artist approval contacts and exclusivity notices
  • Maintain multiple audio and assets libraries; adding metadata, tags and lyrics  
  • Perform regular follow-up on pending deals and licensing requests; track launch/airdates for upcoming releases across all media 
  • Assist with music searches for creative briefs, as needed. 
Who you are:
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Self-starter and incredibly detail oriented
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, time management and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and focus while working under demanding situations and in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with multiple departments and external contacts 
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve a variety of problems 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Canva and Disco. 
  • The use of discretion and the maintenance of high levels of confidentiality is required.
