AgriSompo has a unique opportunity for a AVP, National Field Claims and Private Productsin our National Field Claimsteam.
The AVP, National Field Claims/Private Products is responsible for providing oversight and support of private product claims throughout AgriSompo. This role partners with regional leadership to ensure consistent claim practices through training, team development, best-practice guidance, and ongoing operational oversight. Responsibilities include conducting field reviews and claim audits, maintaining quality and compliance standards, and approving large-loss claims to protect financial integrity and customer outcomes.

Our business, your impact, our opportunity:
What you'll be doing:
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with the adjusters, ACSs, RCMs and other departments including Claim Auditors, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Underwriting, and Accounting to ensure open and effective communications between departments to process private products claims efficiently and correctly.
  • Leverage data and analytics, including remote sensing and weather data, to improve efficiency, accuracy, consistency, and fairness across field claims operations.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the claims and policy systems, including updates and changes.
  • Provide guidance and serve as a technical resource for the adjusters, ACSs and RCMs on private products claims. Consistently follow regulatory and company rules, policies and procedures - MPCI, Private Products and/or Named Peril.
  • Serve as a resource for controversial/disputed/denied claims - fact finding and initial formal communication with the insured (letters).
  • Develop, maintain and deliver well organized and effective adjuster training material for adjuster schools, private products schools and new hire training.
  • Provide input to IT and/or the VP of AI Strategy and Business Integration to identify potential system improvements and efficiencies, bugs/issues which need to be fixed and updates due to changes in the policy or procedure.

What you'll bring:
  • 7 years of crop insurance claims experience and proven professional track record.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record to meet company requirements.
  • Licensing and CAPP certification in accordance with FCIC and State requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent training and work experience required, Bachelor's degree in business, management or agriculture is preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to utilize analytical thinking; find facts and solve problems.

Salary Range: Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
