We are looking for a Solutions Engineer, who will work closely with our Sales team and collaborate with Customer Success to deliver exceptional customer experiences from first conversation through to long-term partnership.

A little about you...
  • 4+ years' experience supporting Sales, Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Consulting teams within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and design impactful solutions.
  • Experience presenting and demonstrating technical solutions to a broad range of stakeholders, from IT teams and system administrators through to senior business leaders.
  • Hands-on experience supporting cloud-based SaaS platforms, integrations, and enterprise software implementations.
  • Experience working with APIs, custom integrations, data migrations, and technical implementation projects.
  • Exposure to software development practices, including Agile delivery, testing, release management, and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including multi-tenant SaaS environments, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and global data residency requirements.
  • Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud technologies, networking concepts, infrastructure design, monitoring, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture and how business systems integrate across complex technology ecosystems.
  • Working knowledge of modern web technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and SDKs.
  • Understanding of software design principles, application architecture, coding practices, and technical solution design.
  • Knowledge of authentication and identity management technologies, including SAML, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements, including GDPR, data protection, encryption, access controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Understanding of integration patterns and enterprise platforms, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, HRIS/HCM systems, and Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Knowledge of migration strategies, deployment approaches, and CI/CD practices, with an appreciation for enterprise change management processes.
  • Naturally curious with a genuine passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Customer-focused with a strong desire to understand business challenges and deliver value-driven solutions.

About the role...
  • Manage the technical setup of demo environments - connecting our platform to 3rd-party integrations via our Marketplace suite of tools
  • Read and parse extensive RFI/RFP documents to understand prospect needs - working closely with the Sales Team to build insights into what the foundational needs of each opportunity are
  • Create and deliver compelling demos of the platform which are tailored to the prospective customer's frame of context
  • Be a product expert (with lots of help from our extensive training materials)
  • Think on your feet (or, office chair) - when quizzed by prospective customer teams across diverse functions such as IT, HR, Communications, and Leadership
  • Continually learn about, and deliver presentations on, the platform roadmap - with a focus on the benefits of the features we're developing
  • Analyse the sales lifecycle and suggest refinements - asking questions and devising options for improvement
  • Work closely with team members across the US and UK - sufficient overlap with relevant time zones is important
