A solutions architect designs computer and information systems customized to a client's needs. As a solutions architect, you often work with universities, government institutions, and other business enterprises that require an expansive network of computers. Your responsibilities include improving existing system architecture, developing new networking solutions, and testing systems to detect potential issues. You work with developers, on staff IT specialists, and even the everyday users to understand the client’s needs. Your job is either to build a system from scratch, or to design effective, efficient software and hardware solutions and ensure they are integrated smoothly into the existing infrastructure.

What You Will Get to DoThe salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
