The Electronic Manufacturing Test (EMT) team is a close-knit team focused on selling, managing, and supporting the world’s leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). The role of the Account Manager is to manage these key customers that are based in the heart of Silicon Valley as they shape their manufacturing test strategies; working through the OEM, EMS, ODM, and partner ecosystem that enables the world’s insatiable growth for new technology. This role will be responsible for leading some of these most influential customers to successful outcomes as they race to release and build the next generation of products.


Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager responsible for uncovering, developing, and closing sales for Keysight’s EMT (Electronic Manufacturing Test) portfolio, based in the heart of Silicon Valley. At Keysight, the EMT Sales and Solutions team is a tight-knit team with a deep dependence between the account manager, solutions engineers and field service engineers. This system-solutions business sells to global manufacturing customers, where your efforts frequently scale into large, multi-system, international opportunities. 

Key aspects of this position include building working relationships with OEMs, CEMs, and our Solution Partner network, developing and influencing sales opportunities, and helping to deliver technical and commercial insights to our customers. Leadership, teamwork, and a strong personal drive all play critical roles in this position.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.  
  • Experience in technical sales account management of 5+ years.
  • Preference is given to a candidate with knowledge of the Printed Circuit Board manufacturing process such as In-Circuit Test, In-system Programming, and Functional Test.
  • Passion for continuous learning in electronics technology and professional selling. 
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates. 
  • Proactively acts to understand customer needs and identify potential solutions.
  • Actively creates business opportunities. 
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills. 
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills. 

In addition, this position requires the following skillsets and attributes. 

  • Highly competitive, assertive, and a passion to "win" and “teach.” 
  • Ability to create a vision, persuasively convey the message and demonstrate a drive to succeed.
