Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach with over 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple Scrum Teams (STEs) and Release Train Engineers (RTEs) with a maximum team size of 21 Agile Release Trains (ARTs). This role requires a strong understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and a commitment to fostering an agile culture within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach multiple Scrum Teams and Release Train Engineers to ensure effective implementation of SAFe principles and practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance to improve productivity and quality.
  • Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth team operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the teams.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 15+ years of overall experience in project management and Agile coaching.
  • 5+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven experience managing multiple STEs and RTEs with a maximum team size of 21 ARTs.
  • Strong expertise in SAFe methodologies; must be a certified Release Train Engineer (RTE).
  • PMP Certification is required.
  • Excellent communication and articulation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and out of the office.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with AT&T or similar telecommunications companies.
  • Experience in leading large scale Agile transformations.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) is a plus.
