About Us:

ENTRUST Solutions Group is an engineering consulting firm with offices in Calgary and Regina that provides design, engineering, and project management services to the electric power delivery industry. Our expertise includes all aspects of Transmission, Substation and Distribution systems for voltages ranging from 4160V to 500kV.

Opportunity:

ENTRUST is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Calgary to support the project management group. We offer a flexible work environment with a highly experienced technical team, where you will be offered guidance and hands on training and continuously challenged in all aspects of the project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects on an EPCM basis
  • Work closely with project team to ensure project deliverables are being met
  • Coordinate project engineers, subcontractors, and other business units
  • Create client specific weekly and monthly reports
  • Regularly review project costs, accruals, and forecasts.
  • Create project schedules, risk registers, and execution plans
  • Chair project meetings
  • Be the main contact for client interactions and requests
  • Create estimates and project proposals

Qualifications:

  • Past experience with project coordination or management
  • Minimum 5 years work experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a wide spectrum of clients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives
  • Positive attitude, strong client focus and results driven
  • Experience in the utility industry

Preferred:

  • 3 years experience working in either Transmission or Substation utility projects
  • Registered, or eligible to be registered, as an P.Eng or P.L.Eng with APEGA
  • All rounded and flexible individual with the ability to take ownership of projects and tasks
