Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead solution design for enterprise technology replacement, modernization, and consolidation initiatives spanning identity, cloud infrastructure, end-user computing, networking, and endpoint management.
  • Serve as the solution lead throughout the project lifecycle — defining integration requirements and architectural guardrails that engineering teams and vendors are accountable for delivering against.
  • Act as a translator between business and technical teams, converting stakeholder requirements into actionable technical direction.
  • Work closely with project managers to define technical scope, surface risks early, review project documentation for technical accuracy, and ensure architecture deliverables align with project milestones.
  • Represent the solution at Architecture Review Board (ARB), Operational Readiness Review (ORR), and other governance gate reviews.
  • Provide technical inputs to the communications team and project managers, ensuring stakeholder-facing materials accurately reflect the solution design and current project status.
  • Develop and maintain internal technical documentation — including design documents, runbooks, and decision logs.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience leading solution design for platform migrations or technology replacements
  • Experience supporting formal governance processes such as ARB, CAB, or PMO gate reviews
  • Broad working knowledge across enterprise IT domains including identity and access management, cloud infrastructure, networking, and endpoint management
  • Familiarity with commercial vs. FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments and how authorization levels affect solution design
  • Ability to produce and validate architectural diagrams at logical, physical, and integration layers
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce accurate, audience-appropriate documentation
