Job Title: Key Holder


SOLSTICE Keyholders are the Store Manager's fleet of right-hands! They are the regular openers and closers of their location, who act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring the store consistently achieves sales goals and executes all operational functions. This position leads by example and reinforces our customer service standards with the team, representing SOLSTICE's core values and selling culture to create an outstanding store experience.

Responsibilities:

Includes all Selling Specialist duties, as well as:

  • In the absence of the Store Manager, or as assigned, operate as the Manager-on-Duty
  • Assist with training and supervision of staff to develop and maintain store selling, customer service skills and product knowledge; coach and guide Selling Specialists and peers
  • Stay up to date with Corporate communication; ensure the store team is kept informed
  • Self-motivated/takes initiative to ensure all operational functions are being completed accurately and timely; delegate, direct and prioritize tasks, as needed
  • When the Store Manager is not present, communicate as needed with the store's District Manager (DM) and Regional Manager (RM)
  • Partner with SM, DM, RM and/or Loss Prevention to address concerns related to unsatisfactory performance and policy violations in a timely matter
  • Accountable to opening/closing the store on-time
  • Ensure visual, housekeeping and safety standards are upheld throughout the entire store

  • Operates well in a fast-paced environment; adapts well to changes in traffic patterns, environments, tasks, etc.; proven time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; is able to adapt style, as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and email
