Job description

Guest Experience Ambassador

Our Guest Experience Ambassador(s) will be responsible for creating a friendly, welcoming environment while consistently providing exceptional services to all guests while supporting Chicago Bears, Chicago Fire FC, concerts, and other responsibilities that will enhance the guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and make them feel welcome
  • Gather and maintain the requisite equipment for each event
  • Familiarize yourself with the layout and history of Soldier Field
  • Help guests by providing general information about Soldier Field, transportation, ADA, concessions, restrooms, seating areas, and more
  • Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor at all times
  • Inform guests with Soldier Field etiquette, policies, and procedures only during major events
  • Assist with guests needs and questions during high level of visitation times
  • Maintain knowledge about Soldier Field programs and events to better serve the guests
  • Relay information when needed to supervisor throughout events
  • Utilize briefing reports to ensure proper communication with guests and supervisor
  • Observe guests and anticipate guest needs during events
  • Assist directing guests, answering questions, and relaying messages to supervisor when you do not know how to best assist the guest
  • Complete other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Must be comfortable in large crowds – noise levels in the work environment are frequently loud
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors; may be exposed to all weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat

Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate with other stadium teams throughout the venue
  • Ability to memorize the layout of Soldier Field (seating sections, restrooms, gates. Codes, etc.)
  • Ability to remain in your position for an entire shift
  • Ability to maneuver throughout the facility

Hourly Rate: $18.00
