Expected salary range of $45,717 to $50,797, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

In a call center environment, our Inside Sales representatives focus on customer acquisition through company issued opportunities. NO COLD CALLING. Our Inside Sales representatives work in a fast-paced environment where we work with potential customers to diagnose their problems and offer solutions. Qualifying and closing the sale of our suite of Home Comfort products with primary focus on Residential Water Heaters (Gas/Electric) along with IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) products. Must be energetic, well-spoken and eager to close sales.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Professional call center environment with structured starting times
  • Verbally describes, promotes and sells home comfort products and services (water heaters, duct cleaning, humidifiers, air cleaners, extended warranties and other related services.)
  • Recommends suitable home comfort products and services explaining important features, functions, benefits and cost / benefit relationships.
  • Processes sales orders, extended warranties, credits, exchanges and coordinates sales and installation / service.
  • Coordinates and schedules installation of water heaters and IAQ products
  • Acknowledges customers' purchase (follow up call, thank you note, etc.) and customer survey.
  • Keeps abreast of latest water heater and indoor air quality products by studying spec sheets, manufacturer literature or professional publications.
  • Maintains an acute awareness of competition for feedback to management and to enhance "value" selling
  • Maintains current Constellation Home comfort product and pricing. Attends product, sales and customer service training sessions on an ongoing basis.
  • Makes outbound re-hash calls to customers who have inquired about our products & services

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent with 5 years of related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional call center environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks accurately
  • Ability to work flexible, sometimes extended hours, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Constellation Home products and services
  • Experience in retail, home services, and/or phone-based sales
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
