Human Resources Administrator
GameChange Energy is one of the fastest growing, most dynamic companies in the booming solar industry. We are a leader in the solar racking and tracker industry with a dynamic and driven team passionate about changing the game in solar. Our products are designed to be the fastest installing and most cost-effective in the industry.
GameChange Energy is seeking a highly motivated and detailed Human Resources Administrator to support our busy Human Resources team. This individual will be directly involved in daily Human Resources operations, supporting talent acquisition, benefits administration, compensation, learning and development and employee relations. They will be responsible for onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records as well as updating organizational charts and internal databases. They will support HR team efficiency by serving as the first point of contact for employee questions.
Human Resources Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Onboarding & Recruitment: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires using the ADP Talent Acquisition module, including preparing offer letters, overseeing completion of new hire forms, coordinating background checks and drug screens, conducting I-9 verifications, benefits orientation, and assisting with recruitment efforts like posting jobs and scheduling interviews
  • Payroll & Benefits Support: Liaise between employees and payroll to track attendance, overtime, and leave, while assisting with benefits administration and inquiries.
  • Policy Compliance: Assist in the preparation of company policies and annual updates to the Employee Handbook to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Records Management: Maintain accurate digital employee records, including hiring, termination, leaves, and promotions, using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Update organizational charts and other internal databases.
  • Data Reporting: Assist in generating reports on HR metrics, including turnover and retention rates.
  • Employee Support: Act as the primary contact for staff inquiries regarding benefits, HR policies, employee relations, and administrative tasks.
Human Resources Administrator Skills & Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or in a similar role.
  • Education: High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS software is required and ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred, as well as proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and auditing employment documents.
  • Confidentiality: Strong ethical standards and a high degree of discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with staff at all levels.
