Job Title: Solar Construction Wiring Technician
Job Description

Join a commercial solar remediation project where you will assist with wiring MC4 cables and supporting electrical installations on a large-scale construction site. You will work hands-on with solar equipment and electrical wiring, helping to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with wiring MC4 cables on a commercial solar remediation project according to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Install, pull, and route electrical wiring and cable throughout the solar installation as directed.
  • Run and bend conduit to support electrical wiring, following blueprints and schematics.
  • Use basic hand and power tools to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Follow detailed instructions from supervisors and lead electricians to complete assigned work.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and basic electrical schematics to support installation activities.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts on solar and electrical systems under guidance from more experienced team members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle materials and tools carefully.
  • Work safely on an active construction site, adhering to all site safety rules and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other crew members to complete tasks on schedule and meet project deadlines.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of construction experience.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely and correctly.
  • Ability to follow directions accurately and work as part of a team.
  • Experience with electrical wiring tasks in a construction environment.
  • Ability to read or follow basic blueprints and schematics.
  • Capability to pull wire and handle cable on an active construction site.
  • Ability to bend and run conduit under supervision.
