Job description

Job Title: Solar Laborer – Wire Replacement Project

Location: West Indianapolis

Pay: $23/hr

Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 8–10 hours/day

Start Time: On site by 7:00 AM (work starts at 7:30 AM)

Overview

Hiring laborers for a solar site in West Indianapolis to support a wire‑replacement project. Work is physical and outdoors. Electrical experience is helpful but not required.

Job Duties

  • Replace stolen wire across the solar farm
  • Cut, shake, channel, and tie down wire
  • Pull wire and cable across long distances
  • Perform general labor tasks across the site
  • Walk significant distances throughout the day
  • Follow all site safety procedures and direction from site leadership

Requirements

  • Ability to work 8–10 hour days, Monday–Saturday
  • Must be reliable and on time (site manager must key everyone in before work starts)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a reliable vehicle
  • FR clothing (Level 2)
  • Composite toe boots
  • Cut Level 2 gloves
  • No tools required
  • Comfortable with physical labor and outdoor conditions

Pay and Benefits
