 What We Need

F.H. Furr is seeking a highly motivated Generator Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will meet with homeowners, evaluate their backup power needs, provide expert recommendations, and sell residential standby generator solutions.

Our ideal candidate is a confident sales professional who excels at building relationships, educating customers, and closing sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience.


Sales Expertise Needed
  • Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners interested in backup power solutions
  • Assess property layouts, electrical requirements, and homeowner needs
  • Recommend appropriate residential standby generator systems and related products
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and financing options
  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of whole-home backup power and generator ownership
  • Build trust through professional presentations and solution-based selling
  • Follow up with prospective customers and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with installation and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals and performance metrics
  • Stay current on generator technology, products, industry trends, and company offerings

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful in-home sales experience preferred
  • Home improvement, HVAC, generator, solar, roofing, electrical, or related industry sales experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, customer-friendly manner
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable using technology, tablets, and CRM systems
  • Valid Driver's License required
