Travel is required as this position may be located at one of our projects with locations including: Kentucky, Ohio, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Washington and other states.
Per-diem is available to help cover temporary living expenses for candidates who the eligibility criteria. Depending on project availability, once your time on this project ends, you may be transferred to the next project in a different state.

Responsibilities
  • Works with site superintendent and lead project manager, implements PCL's safety program and maintains safety and record-keeping requirements.
  • Install electrical raceways, conduit, wiring, junction boxes, disconnects, and terminations for DC and AC systems.
  • Perform electrical terminations and connections for combiner boxes, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Verify continuity, insulation resistance, and polarity using appropriate testing equipment.
  • Interpret and work from electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
  • Assist with commissioning and troubleshooting electrical systems as required.
  • Maintain proper labeling, identification, and documentation of installed electrical equipment.
  • Follow all company, OSHA, and NFPA 70E safety procedures and participate in daily safety meetings.
  • Collaborate with foremen, QA/QC, and engineering teams to ensure work quality and compliance.
  • Support training and mentorship of apprentices and entry-level craftworkers.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in clean and safe working conditions.

Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification (state-specific).
  • OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E certification preferred
  • NCCER Electrical certification preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical construction; solar experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, grounding systems, and electrical safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficient with conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, and testing equipment.
  • Must possess strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Demonstrated conflict-resolution skills, problem-solving abilities, and professional judgment.
