The role

This is a customer-facing, office-based (hybrid option available) position. You will be the first point of contact for homeowners with questions or problems related to their solar systems, and you will manage each case from the first call through resolution.

Day to day, you will:

  • Schedule field technicians when a site visit is needed and keep customers informed throughout the process
  • Work with manufacturers (Enphase, SolarEdge, Tesla, SMA) on warranty claims and replacement equipment
  • Document cases and communications in our CRM
  • Help coordinate the service crew’s schedule
  • Identify recurring issues and work with leadership to improve our processes

The department is growing, and as it does, this role will take on more responsibility for the service team.

What we’re looking for

  • Organized and able to manage multiple open cases at once
  • Interest in learning how solar systems work and how to troubleshoot them
  • Ability to navigate industry-specific terminology
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work successfully in a high-volume environment
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a larger team
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and GSuite or similar
  • Ability to learn quickly and develop additional industry knowledge
Helpful but not required
  • Experience with inverters or monitoring platforms
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience
  • Field experience installing or servicing solar systems
  • Experience leading a small team
  • NABCEP certification or an electrical background

We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every item on this list.

Compensation and benefits
  • $75,000–$95,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k)
  • Full-time, in-office position at our Petaluma, CA office
