Job description

Job Title: Quality Analyst – Distribution & Supply Chain Compliance
Location: Shepherdsville, KY or Somerset, NJ (ONSITE)
Experience Required: 2+ Years

Role Overview

The Quality Analyst is responsible for oversight and execution of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance activities within the Distribution Center. This role acts as the primary liaison between Commercial Quality, Supply Chain partners, and cross-functional Quality organizations to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

The position supports distribution quality operations, clinical supply chain compliance, temperature monitoring, CAPA processes, audits, and regulatory adherence in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee product receiving quality processes including inspection, temperature monitoring review, and system transactions in WMS and/or SAP
  • Monitor and manage Quarantine, Hold, Stop-Ship, and Recall processes
  • Support product refusal inspection and disposition activities
  • Ensure adherence to Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, Records Management, and Training processes
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Provide quality oversight for protocol execution and batch record activities
  • Escalate critical quality issues to management
  • Provide metrics and data for Quality Management Reviews
  • Develop and review SOPs, Work Instructions, and compliance documentation
  • Conduct gap assessments against corporate and regulatory standards
  • Support new product launches including Master Data setup
  • Monitor temperature control compliance for Distribution Center operations
  • Oversee Re-Pack / Re-Label processes and labeling compliance
  • Evaluate compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Support 24/7 distribution center operations as required
  • Provide training to new hires and contractors
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain and Quality partners

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Consumer Products industries preferred
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Experience with CAPA, Deviations, Change Controls
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and SAP preferred
  • Temperature control and distribution quality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
