Job Title: Senior Wireless Network Engineer / Solution Architect (Private 5G, CBRS, RAN, DAS) – Hybrid – Houston, TX 
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Rate: on W2 contract 

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Solution Architect with deep expertise in Private 5G, CBRS, DAS, and RAN engineering to join our team in Houston, TX. This is a hybrid role focused on designing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting enterprise wireless networks for mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in wireless architecture, enterprise networking, network automation, and multi-vendor wireless solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Private 5G and CBRS network solutions for enterprise environments.
  • Lead the architecture, deployment, and optimization of RAN (Radio Access Network) infrastructure.
  • Design and optimize Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for indoor and outdoor wireless coverage.
  • Perform RF planning, capacity analysis, coverage optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Develop scalable wireless network architectures aligned with business and operational requirements.
  • Integrate and support multi-vendor wireless technologies and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end wireless solutions.
  • Implement automation for network provisioning, monitoring, configuration management, and operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot complex wireless network issues and provide technical leadership during deployments.
  • Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Private 5G deployments.
  • Expertise in CBRS technologies and spectrum management.
  • Deep knowledge of RAN Engineering and wireless network optimization.
  • Experience designing and supporting Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).
  • Strong background in Enterprise Networking.
  • Experience with Wireless Network Architecture and solution design.
  • Knowledge of Network Automation using scripting or automation frameworks.
  • Experience working with multi-vendor wireless environments (e.g., Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Cisco, Cradlepoint, Juniper, HPE Aruba, Celona, JMA, or similar).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving as a Lead Engineer or Solution Architect.
  • Experience with enterprise Private LTE/5G deployments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-managed networking and orchestration platforms.
  • Relevant wireless networking certifications are a plus.
